Types            of YOGA

Yoga means “Union” in Sanskrit - Union of Body, mind and Soul.

1. HATHA   YOGA

Its most commonly used form, that teaches Physical postures.

2. Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar is about doing few poses, but try to master aligments.

3. Ashtanga Yoga 

The basis of ashtanga yoga is the Yoga sutras (Sanskrit Verses) of Patanjali. It is typically fast-paced   form consisting of 6 series.

4. Viniyasa        Yoga

Its also called "flow", one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga focusing on smooth flow of poses.

5. Kundalini Yoga

It is focused on awakening of the 7 Chakras, hence more spiritual than physical. 

6. BIKRAM Yoga

Bikram Yoga is a system of hot yoga to extract the sweat benefits and more flexible body due to heat, it was devised by Bikram Choudhury 

7. Power Yoga

This is more for fitness enthusiasts and excellent for fitness. It started as Ashtanga but changed for western students.
